Well, today has been an interesting day. We got a lot of documents notarized. We also had to change our flight arrangements. We are actually leaving for Russia on April 18th now. The main reason is that each baby has to be on a database for a certain amount of time before they can be adopted by foreigners. Well, our referral is not released from the database until April 20th, so they want us to leave later. I don't know why Russia did not know that on Friday, but that's international adoption. So, we managed to change our tickets without incurring a penalty.
Even though changing the tickets was a headache, it actually works out better for us. First, it gives us a couple more days to get all of our documents done. It was stressing me out because some documents are coming from Georgia and West Virginia. Also, Evan will miss less classes. The bad news is that our airfare went up because we leave on a Friday and come back on a Saturday, instead of during the week.
So, that's what is happening right now. Hopefully, there will be no major changes before we leave. I will keep you posted.

We are so excited for your new family!! Praise God! He is so good and faithful!! We are continuing to pray for the 3 of you and your trip to Russia!! We cannot imagine what your day will be when you see your son for the first time! How joyful will that day be for the 3 of you!!
