Yesterday afternoon we had a fairly good visit with the baby. My only beef with this wonderful baby home is that it is always roasting in there! Our baby is always sweaty by the time we're done playing.
The baby loves Cheerios, but he has trouble picking them up. So, you either have to feed them to him or he tries to act like a vacuum and suck them off the ground. It is really funny to watch. I am not sure that they have Cheerios here. Our interpreter and our coordinator's daughter both tried one because they weren't sure what they are. All I know is that they will probably be a staple in our house.
We are blogging early this morning (nightime for you guys!) and it will probably be our last post until we get home. Our normal blogging time is going to be taken up by a very special event. We will be signing the papers to accept our referral! We will be one step closer to bringing Nicholas home.
So, please keep us in your prayers as we leave our son and journey home. I am sure today will be bittersweet. Pray that his little heart won't be too confused by the fact that we are leaving and won't see him for awhile. And pray for our big hearts because we've grown quite fond of him.
Kristin
