In an effort to try to make this blog more exciting while we wait, we are inviting our readers to ask us questions. You can ask about anything. We don’t have to answer if we don’t like your question. Ha ha. If you have one of our e-mail addresses, you can e-mail us the question. Or, post it as a comment on the blog. The third option would be to ask someone who does have our e-mail address to give it to you.
I will say that we may lose our internet access for a couple of days. We are not sure yet. There is a conference at our hotel, so they need our room. They are trying to find us a different room, probably on the dreaded fourth floor (lots of stairs!). But, if they cannot accommodate us , then we are off to another hotel until the end of the weekend.
Back, to the questions . . .
1. How far are you from the Baby Home?
We are about a 5 minute drive from the baby home. That is why we get to see him twice a day. In some regions they are 2 hours away!
2. How many teeth does Nicholas have?
Nicholas has 4 teeth, 2 on the top and 2 on the bottom. However, he is drooling like crazy, so it looks like more will be here soon.
3. Have you seen Nicholas’ room and any other children?
I have seen the room that leads to Nicholas’ room, but that's as far as they let us go. It has several high chairs and cribs in it. There is also a huge closet in the corner full of clothes. However, Nicholas has been in the same three outfits all week. Maybe before we leave, they we'll let us see everything. He is in a room with children a little younger than him. He didn't move up with his group since he is going to be adopted.
We do see other children. When we come to visit him, the older kids (2-4 year olds) are usually leaving to go play outside. We give credit to the caregivers. There are usually only 2 adults for 8-10 kids, but they keep them in line.
We will start with these questions for now. We'll try to answer a couple of questions a day as long as we have internet access. Other than that, we're just doing our daily routine. It's already Tuesday, guys. We're getting closer and closer to court. How's that for a positive attitude?
