The week started off with a little game of Memory. Daniel really wanted to play it instead of
doing school. I didn't think of it right
away, but the game pieces are squares, so I pointed that out to him later.

He also dot painted a square. We’re encountering some perfection
problems. On the first square he made a
mistake, so he requested another.
Thankfully, he was pleased with his second one.

Daniel also made a little rectangle man with a face. He didn't want to put the arms and the legs
where they belong though and that’s fine.
He was having fun.
He also worked on tracing some rectangles. Instead of favoring his right or left hand,
he just used both.
In other news, we had a lot of celebrating this past
weekend. Evan’s dad turned 70 and my
grandma had her birthday the next day.
We had dinner and hung out with Evan’s family on Sunday. The boys enjoyed spending time with their
cousins, while we worked on making plans for an upcoming family vacation.
Then, we enjoyed pizza with my grandma on Monday. Since her birthday fell on a Monday, Evan was
able to join us too. We only wish that
the place didn't get rid of their buffet.
But, I think we all enjoyed our meals anyway.
I’m a little late posting, so we've already started this
week – rectangle week! Hopefully, the weather doesn't get too much
colder like they are predicting because the boys would much rather be doing
this:
